To make seven layer cups add a layer of diced tomato and sliced black olives before garnishing. Let sit for at least an hour to dissolve the powder or it will be gritty. Taco meat guacamole salsa sour cream cheese jalapeños and green onions. Top with cheddar cheese and garnish unless adding additional layers. Tap the cups gently to settle the salsa into an even layer.
In a bowl mix together the refried beans half of the package of taco seasoning the salsa and 3 tablespoons of the sour cream. Spread an even layer of salsa over the sour cream. Sour cream mixed with cream cheese and taco seasoning guacamole. Directions thoroughly mix taco seasoning with sour cream. You can make this 7 layer dip up to 12 hours ahead and refrigerate it until ready to serve.
In a 13 x 9 casserole dish or similarly sized party dish spread the following layers taking care not to mix them. Top with the tomatoes then the scallions. Individually packaged up for portability and pot lucks. This dip has obviously 7 layers to it and creating the layers is quick and easy. Spread an even layer of sour cream over the guacamole.
